Not only did YHWH provide that substitution for Isaac, but exactly forty Jubilee cycles later, he provided his very own Son, Yeshua, to make atonement for all mankind. Then to make sure we all got the point, the final year of that fortieth Jubilee cycle saw the last atonement sacrifice in the temple of Jerusalem. Zane lightly tapped his pencil on desk. Incredible, he thought. Forty Jubilees from the first "Lamb of God" provided in substitution for Isaac until the last "Lamb of God" provided for all mankind. The words of John the Baptist took on new meaning for Zane: "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." {John 1:29 }

In the book of Hebrews chapter 12, it talks about Jesus as the 'guarantor of the new covenant.

This was a struggle between the forces of good and evil, between YHWH and Satan. The times of the Gentiles were drawing to a close; this was Satan's final act of rebellion. Under the banner of a secular democratic "enlightenment," the world was being drawn into Satan's war against YHWH. What better way to destroy mankind than to convince them they were gods and unite them in rebellion against the god of heaven? She looked at Zane. "We have got to make this information public. If this is indeed the final Jubilee of the Church Age, people need to know that it is drawing to a close.

    Isaac was born on the forty-third Jubilee from Adam!" Thinking about it, he realized the symbolism was pretty cool. It was Isaac YHWH first used to test Abraham's faith by seeing if he would sacrifice his firstborn son. Zane turned the old pages in the Bible in front of him to Genesis 22. "What faith!" he muttered as he read Abraham's explanation to Isaac. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. {Genesis 22:7–8}

    We can follow this covenantal theme like a scarlet thread through the entire Scripture. It began with Adam, and we can follow it through Noah and Shem until the promise is confirmed in Abraham. After Abraham, we trace the thread through Isaac, Jacob, and David and finally to its culmination in the promised seed, in Yeshua the Messiah. In Romans 15:8, Paul said Yeshua was a minister to the Jewish people to 'confirm the promises made unto the fathers.' Let me read you what he said to the Galatians:

    Yes, and that is the beauty of counting the Jubilee cycle this way. The Sabbath and Jubilee cycles dance together, so to speak, each going their own way, then coming back together again when the time is just right. The cycles are never-ending but never exactly the same way twice.

    Another point in favor of a synchronized yearly Sabbath cycle is the Feast of Firstfruits." Glancing at Zane, he said, "Or Pentecost, as you would call it in English. Pentecost is basically a little Jubilee every year. The count begins and ends on the first day of the week, and it does so without interrupting the weekly Sabbath cycle.

    I believe the synchronized Jubilee cycle is the correct method. I believe in the congruency of the biblical record. YHWH gave a continuous repeating weekly Sabbath cycle, and I see no compelling argument in Leviticus 25 to believe his method of counting a yearly Sabbath cycle is any different. Why would the Scripture mention seven sets of seven years, implying seven Sabbath cycles, if the cycle was not continuous? He could have just said 'count fifty years.
