Our quest for safe harbor begins when we acknowledge our need to give up the independence and self-reliance of the orphan heart and humble ourselves willingly to be fathered and mothered by other men and women who have been there before, people who know how to find their way through the storms and the gales of life and who know where safe harbor lies. Safe harbor-the heart and love of the Father, along with all the riches and resources of His Kingdom-is our inheritance when we enter in with a heart of sons and daughters. Whose son are you?
