Then came the sounds of the brave new world, "of test tube and decanter," where humans were artificially bred and cultivated. The sound was just 30 seconds long, but it had taken three sound effects men and an engineer more than five hours to create. To a ticking metronome was added the beat of a tom-tom {heartbeats}, bubbling water, an air hose, the mooing of a cow, a couple of "boings," and three different wine glasses clinking against each other.
