Cricket shares a joke and looks to see if I’m laughing, wanting to know if I find him funny. I want to show him that I think he's amusing and that I value our friendship. It's important to me that he feels appreciated and knows I enjoy his company.
Additionally, I recognize the kindness in him and want to let him know he has one of the biggest hearts I've ever encountered. I wish to feel his heartbeat against my palm, as a way to confirm his presence and deepen our connection.
