I feel safe in the car, alone and protected. I can see people milling about in the parking lot but they can't see me. Well, they can but they think I'm insane so they look away which is the same as being invisible.

I feel secure when I am in the car, alone and shielded from the outside world. The parking lot is busy with people walking around, but I am hidden from their view. They might see me, but they consider my behavior odd, so they choose to ignore me. This makes me feel as though I am invisible, giving me a sense of safety and detachment from others.
