The quote from Cormac McCarthy's "No Country for Old Men" suggests that truth should be straightforward and easily grasped by anyone, including a child. The emphasis on simplicity implies that when truths are complex, they may become elusive and lead to negative consequences if not understood in time. This notion highlights the importance of clarity in understanding reality.

McCarthy's perspective raises a critical point about the nature of truth and comprehension. It underscores the urgency of grasping fundamental truths before it is too late, encouraging readers to seek clarity and reject convoluted interpretations that could obscure important lessons or insights. Ultimately, understanding these truths is essential for making informed decisions in life.
