Three of the world's most dominant religions claimed rights or roots in that ancient piece of real estate. The Order's goal for centuries had been to show the equality of all religions-their equal irrelevance, that is. The seeds of that belief had been planted in the churches, colleges, and institutions of the world long ago. Shane gave a self-satisfied smile. Most would never realize that by accepting the equality of all religions, they were admitting to the illegitimacy of their own. Simple logic would tell you there could only be one right way. When the world finally realized that their gods were all equal, they would then be ready for true enlightenment.
