Albert Einstein appeared to have little interest in psychoanalysis and its methods. He never sought the help of Sigmund Freud for his son nor did he express admiration for the concept of exploring the subconscious. Einstein questioned the practical effectiveness of such introspection, using the analogy of human legs, which are controlled by numerous muscles. He suggested that understanding each muscle's function wouldn’t necessarily enhance our ability to walk.
Furthermore, Einstein openly preferred to stay away from therapy and analysis. He even stated a desire to remain "in the darkness" of not undergoing any analysis. This reflects his belief that some complex aspects of life and human behavior might not benefit from in-depth psychological analysis, as he valued the simplicity and functionality of a more straightforward approach to understanding existence.
