It's not going to be easy to proceed. There are going to be barriers, difficulties, hardships, failures- it's inevitable. But unless the process that is taking place here and elsewhere in the country and around the world, unless that continues to grow and becomes a major force in the social and political world, the chances for a decent future are not very high.

Noam Chomsky emphasizes the inevitability of challenges such as barriers, difficulties, and failures when pursuing meaningful change. He argues that progress is often fraught with obstacles, making it a tough journey. However, he believes that these struggles are essential to foster a robust movement that can influence the social and political landscape.

Chomsky warns that without this movement gaining traction and becoming a significant force, the prospects for a better future diminish greatly. He stresses the importance of perseverance in the face of hardship to ensure that these collective efforts can lead to substantial societal improvement.
