I thought Auschwitz was hell on earth and nothing could get worse. There I was wrong. Auschwitz was an organized hell. The crematoria worked. The bodies were not lying on the appeal. Warsaw was a planless hell.

In Robert Savosnick's book "I Wouldn't Die," the author reflects on the harrowing experiences during the Holocaust, particularly contrasting his time in Auschwitz with that in Warsaw. He describes Auschwitz not just as a place of despair, but as an organized system of horror where everything was methodically executed, including the operation of the crematoria.

In contrast, Savosnick portrays Warsaw as a chaotic and disordered form of hell, lacking the structure seen in Auschwitz. This juxtaposition highlights the varying forms of suffering endured during this dark period, revealing how even in the depths of despair, some places were more systematically horrific than others.
