New-agent training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, often nicknamed Club Fed, was a tough, demanding, and stressful experience. Despite the challenges, I generally enjoyed the program and tried to stay positive, suppressing any doubts I had. My background as a pattern-killer profiler elevated expectations I aimed to meet during this rigorous phase.
"For the most part, I liked it, and I was making an effort to keep any skepticism down." This reflects my attitude toward the training, even though it was intense and sometimes overwhelming. Entering the FBI, I was presumed to be skilled at identifying and catching complex criminals, a reputation I was determined to uphold through hard work and resilience.
