NOOOO! On the screen, a woman's eyes bugged almost out of her head, and I tried not to scream.Tried not to scream in exasperation, I mean. The serial killer was right in front of her, wide open! Clearly, instead of weeping like a moron, she could be lunging forward and administering a swift uppercut to the chin. Then this entire pointless ordeal would be over with, and I could go home.
"NOOOO!" The woman’s eyes widened in shock as she stared at the screen, making me want to scream in frustration. She was facing a dangerous serial killer right in front of her, yet instead of acting quickly, she just looked helpless and tearful. I felt exasperated, knowing that if she had just lunged and delivered a quick punch, the nightmare could end immediately, and I could leave.
It was maddening to see her freeze in fear instead of taking action to save herself. The scene highlighted her inability to respond in a critical moment, which was a source of my irritation. Instead of waiting for the killer to do something, a swift, brave move could have thwarted the threat, ending the suspense and guiding the story toward a resolution.
