Our quest for safe harbor begins when we acknowledge our need to give up the independence and self-reliance of the orphan heart and humble ourselves willingly to be fathered and mothered by other men and women who have been there before, people who know how to find their way through the storms and the gales of life and who know where safe harbor lies. Safe harbor-the heart and love of the Father, along with all the riches and resources of His Kingdom-is our inheritance when we enter in with a heart of sons and daughters. Whose son are you? Whose daughter are you? Remember-no sonship, no inheritance.

The journey towards finding safety and stability in life begins with recognizing our need to relinquish the independence often associated with an orphaned mindset. We must be willing to humble ourselves and seek guidance from those who have experienced life's challenges and understand how to navigate through them. These mentors can help us discover where true safety and refuge can be found amidst life's turmoil.

This safe harbor is characterized as the unconditional love of the Father, along with the abundant resources of His Kingdom, which become our inheritance when we embrace our identity as His children. We are reminded of the crucial question of sonship; without acknowledging our place as sons and daughters, we cannot access the fullness of our spiritual inheritance.
