What I've learned is that everything in life - and I mean, even the of it - can be turned into grace...the test is - for even one moment in our lives - not to strike back at something, no matter how bad it gets...when you're faced with the temptation to get angry or upset and to hit back - you just do it. You let the temptation roll over you and not touch you. The idea is not to add to the collective pain...and by not doing so, you make the world a better place.

The essence of the quote reflects a deep understanding of life's challenges and the role of grace in our responses to adversity. It emphasizes that every experience, even the most difficult ones, can be transformed into something positive. The key lies in resisting the urge to retaliate or react negatively, suggesting that such temptation should be allowed to pass without initiating a cycle of pain or anger.

This perspective encourages a mindful approach to conflict and discomfort, advocating for a conscious choice to abstain from contributing to harm. By choosing grace over retaliation, individuals can foster a more compassionate environment, ultimately aiding in the collective healing and enhancing the world around them.
